Biography
I am a British photographer based in Devon, who has recently graduated from Falmouth University, receiving a First Class Honours in BA Photography!
I focus on working with photography as a form of visual storytelling, working on long-term projects which are devoted to portraiture and centred on themes of connection. I believe my work has a documentary meets editorial feel. I ideally work with medium format and prefer working in natural environments, utilising daylight in my approach.
I focus on capturing intimate portraits- through an empathetic approach and my subjects are always the most highly valued element within my work. My priority is forming connections and creating a quiet and comfortable atmosphere to collaborate in, giving my subjects the space to be vulnerable and therefore capturing authenticity in my photographs.
My photographic practice is a form of visual storytelling, for me to express my inner world and feelings, furthermore it is an opportunity for me to connect with many interesting individuals who I would otherwise not get the chance to meet.

My Portrait of Britain success story got me some BBC coverage, including two radio interviews, a news article and an interview with Spotlight, which was aired on telly.

Winner of the Portrait of Britain Vol. 7.. so my image was displayed on JCDecaux digital screens across the whole of the UK from January 6th to February 2nd 2025.

Shortlisted for the Portrait of Britain with the British Journal of Photography in November 2024.. so my image titled ‘Maria & Connie’ from my project ‘Lost & Found’ was published in the Vol. 7 book with Bluecoat Press.

Studied BA Photography at Falmouth University and was awarded a First Class Honours Degree in July 2024.

Exhibited my project ‘Lost & Found’ with ‘By All Means’, alongside Falmouth University, for Free Range, at The Truman Brewery, London, June 2024.
It was a wonderful experience which resulted in me getting chosen across all the exhibiting university, as one of four graduate students to be interviewed for Free Range.
